ABC Wednesday : E for Elephant Grass
Kaziranga National Park is located in Assam and is famous for its Rhinos. There is plenty of marshy land and tall Elephant grass for rhinos to hide. At times, tourists on a jeep safari almost miss the well camouflaged Rhino next to the roadside. As the name suggests, the elephant grass is tall enough to hide a full grown elephant!

The elephant safari is in the morning only where you can get the closest to a Rhino. Rhinos are extremely shy and extremely aggressive, but they have no problems with elephants.
Otherwise, one needs to be very lucky to click these animals upclose.
Kaziranga National Park is such a great spot to visit.
Dad really enjoyed it.
Cheers Sharon…
