Ashok Chat Corner, Chawri Bazar, New Delhi
This place deserves a special mention for its popularity which is linked to the tasty treats which they serve customers. Chat has always found a special place in our lives, and once you get a place like Ashok Chat Corner, we are left asking for more.
Location of Ashok Chat Corner
No problems over here. Located right in the middle of a busy street, you can ask anyone. Best way to reach there is the metro and alight at Chawri Bazar metro station. Chawri Bazar chowk is also known as Hauz Qazi Chowk. And to be specific, it is the first shop at the beginning of Chawri Bazar Road.
Menu at Ashok Chat Corner
Things are pretty simple over here. And since this place is always crowded, the owner might not go for any additional items in the menu. Also in the limited space, there is not much scope for additions.
So there is basically gol gappaas and papri, and variations of papris. Then there is kalmi vada and kachoris. Dahi bhallas is a must try. All the items on the menu are good and you must sample each one of them.
Other points to note
This street is extremely crowded at all times of the day and place is very congested. So you basically have to stand on the street to have your snacks. There is no point in traveling to that place in your own vehicle, as even riding on a two wheeler is a nightmare here. Also the streets are dirty but once you dive in the treats, there is no need to waste time looking around.

Delicious …. So finally , you have started adoring Dil walonki Delhi. You have discovered places and admired them , that’s a good sign. And I still prefer more disciplined , more cultured , well mannered Aapli Mumbai.
