It is very difficult to get good and tasty Chinese food in New Delhi. Now for the quest for finding some nice restaurants, sometimes you hit pay dirt. Big Wong at Vasant Vihar is one of them. It serves some top class and tasty Chinese food.

About Big Wong

The first thing that strikes you once you enter the place is that how nicely they have managed to pack in the whole deal in such a small space. Nice and cosy seating. Warm and welcoming lights and the moods swings immediately to have good food. Waiters are quick and know their job well. Cooking takes a bit of time since I think everything is prepared fresh but that fine since the taste is worth it.

A bit about the food. Tasty stuff and the flavors are spot on. Generally with Chinese, most of the restaurants in New Delhi not only get it horribly wrong, but sometimes what they pass off as Chinese makes you pull your hair out all over again. But with Big Wong, it is delicious and tasty stuff all the way.

Other Points to Note

The prices are little bit on the higher side. It would have been a real sweet deal if they were down by about 20%. The hit is actually taken by the taxes which the govt authorities are hell bent on charging, and that too in the food capital of the country.

Parking is available in plenty and thankfully it is not paid parking, but it is on the main road and a two minute walk to the restaurant. Though the place is having limited seating, you might have to wait only during the rush hour. Otherwise do a reservation if you feel so.
