Delhi | PLACES Om Corner, Karol Bagh, New Delhi – A Photo Story Byaddaa January 1, 2017 OM Corner is a local Chhole Bhature shop in Karol Bagh. This place is located in a predominantly residential part of the locality. Traffic outside is maddening. Parking will be a problem. Half plate is just Rs 35 and full plate is Rs 60. Bhature are medium sizes and thick. Chhole are mesmerizing and well cooked. Flavors are something to die for. The pickle which is served with onions as accompaniment is also very tasty. Especially the carrot pickle….too good. A single counter serves as cash as well as the cooking counter. Token is a must before you get your food. The counter is always busy. This place has no seating. Basic tables to stand and have food. Even water is self service. Used plates can be left at the table. Sometimes you need to share a table. People are even willing to eat outside on two wheelers or even in cars. Interiors are very basic and white. Just one oversized drinking water system on one side. A couple of people are frantically doing rounds cleaning the place. A local sweet ice cream if the meal was a little spicy. But the food is very very low on the spicy count. The restaurant has diversified into ready to eat meals. This is their sales counter. Parcel system and then ready to eat packets means you can take the amazing taste home. Multiple cashless payment options are available. Card Payments not available. Plus the menu and the cost is not too much. So best is the mobile wallet. No need to carry change around.
