QD’s Restaurant, Satyaniketan, New Delhi

Satyaniketan is a popular students hangout. It is packed with the largest density of restaurants. They have to serve some good food and at affordable rates. Some of the restaurants have developed a reputation of sorts where regulars come from far and wide to enjoy a meal. QD’s is one such place. And people come to enjoy the QD’s Tandoori Momos.

The popularity of QD’s has a lot to do with the Tandoori Momos which they serve with an awesome chutney. QD’s have tinkered with the original momo recipe and we have a gigantic size momo, very tasty and very filling. You will find many customers just coming in for a bite of their famous Tandoori Momos and a single plate is enough for two adults!

Similar to eating joints in Satyaniketan, the place is very small, but enough seating is available. Seating is flexible and can be tuned for a couple or can seat a sizeable group with ease. The service is fast and waiters are well trained and courteous. Menu is huge and all items are in generous portions. If you order combos, they come in the right quantity, so no wastage. Another thing I like about Satyaniketan is huge parking and that too free of cost. Prices are down to earth compared to the otherwise uptown Delhi. This place is lively, partly because of the decor, lots of bright colours and good wall graphics and partly because of the crowd, young and happy.

Taste wise, their signature dish, QD’s Tandoori Momos are fabulous. Chinese dishes are also great in taste. Another favorite among the crowd is pizza. And judging by the reaction of the crowd, people to enjoy the food here.
